What is the Luminous Egg?

The Luminous Egg is a premium shop egg that took the Robux shelf with the September Angels vs Demons update, replacing the Monster Egg pool. Its line is an eight-pet roster of glowing, celestial-flavored companions, headlined by a Divine-tier top slot — the same “six-to-eight themed pets with a jackpot” shape every shop rotation follows.

Shop eggs sell in tiered Robux bundles — singles around 99 Robux, scaling to bulk hatches in the ~9,999 Robux band. The live shop UI is authoritative, but the historical pattern across Monster, Luminous, and Extinction rotations is consistent.

The Extinction Egg

Update 7’s premium pool leans into fossil-fare: six extinct-animal pets from Glyptodon up to a Divine Sabertooth, each with a rare Skeletal variant roll on top of the base pool. It pairs naturally with the Enchanted Forest content drop.

Are shop eggs worth it?

Shop eggs are a shortcut, not a solution. They cannot buy Speed, bypass biome gates, or help once guardians are involved — a Divine hatch does nothing for a player still gated at Cherry Blossom. Where they shine: a targeted Divine income anchor for an endgame account, and variant hunting for Index completionists who already have Speed to spare. Free players can reach comparable earners through Divine nests and fusion, it just takes longer.
