FAQ

When did the Enchanted Forest update release?
October 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM UTC — the official Roblox event listing ran the window through October 4, 6:00 PM UTC. The biome is permanent content, not a limited event zone.
How much Speed do I need for the Enchanted Forest?
Roughly 50 billion Speed — the highest gate in the game, above Angels & Demons (~20B). The Wisp NPC and its questline only appear once you can enter.
What pets are in the Enchanted Forest?
Eight pets in a new Index — confirmed names so far are Prism Gecko, Petal Beetle, and Astral Jackalope. Completing the Index awards a new weapon.
What is the Wisp in Steal An Egg?
A golden spirit NPC inside the Enchanted Forest. Its three tasks — steal 20 Enchanted Forest eggs, fuse an Enchanted Forest pet, steal any Eternal — then returning it to the sealed tree unseals a secret room with a Butterfly Net, a Conversion Center, and a mutation shrine.
What is the Extinction Egg?
A limited Robux shop egg added with Update 7 — six extinct-animal pets from Glyptodon up to a Divine Sabertooth, plus rare Skeletal variants, priced from 99 Robux.

What did Update 7 add?

The Enchanted Forest update landed Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM UTC — the seventh major update since launch and the biggest concurrent spike the game has seen: the official Roblox API recorded about 9.35 million players online right after the drop. It adds a new top-of-ladder biome, an NPC questline, a multi-layer secret, and a new limited shop egg.

The Enchanted Forest biome (~50B Speed)

The new zone is a night forest lit by lanterns, glowing mushrooms, and crystals — and it sits at the very top of the progression ladder:

Zone Speed gate Guardian
Cherry Blossom ~2.5B Unconfirmed
Titan Temple ~7B Gorilla King
Angels & Demons ~20B Angel / Demon guardians
Enchanted Forest ~50B Starry lion (see below)

The guardian is a giant purple lion covered in stars with golden paws — the same creature on the game’s new icon. It sleeps next to the egg nests and chases thieves like every other guardian. Its official name is not confirmed yet.

The Wisp questline and the sealed tree

Inside the biome, a small golden spirit — the Wisp — floats at a spot marked by a yellow circle. It only appears to players who meet the Speed requirement. Interacting with it starts Grow Your Wisp, a four-stage questline:

  1. Steal 20 Enchanted Forest eggs.
  2. Fuse an Enchanted Forest pet — e.g. three Prism Geckos at the base Fuse Machine.
  3. Steal any Eternal pet (another biome works).
  4. Return the Wisp to the sealed tree.

The tree carries a spiral seal — “The tree is sealed. Help your Wisp grow to open it!” Once the Wisp hits stage 4, the Enchanted Tree opens into a secret room containing a free Butterfly Net, a Conversion Center, an Enchanted Mutation Shrine, a mushroom puzzle, and reported secret rewards including the Jitterbug egg and Cricket’s Banjo.

New pets and the Starry Fox

The biome’s Index holds 8 pets. Confirmed so far: Prism Gecko, Petal Beetle, and Astral Jackalope — the rest, plus rarities and income figures, are being verified against live hatches. Completing the Index awards a new weapon. A Starry Fox secret egg also spawns in the open biome as a contested steal target, and a timed Butterfly Bloom event lets you catch butterflies for Enchanted Essence.

The Extinction Egg (shop)

Update 7 also rotated the premium shop: the Extinction Egg (from 99 Robux) hatches six extinct-animal pets — from Glyptodon up to a Divine Sabertooth — each with a rare Skeletal variant. See the shop eggs section for how it fits the Luminous/Monster rotation.

What’s next?

Community trackers point to mounts arriving around Saturday, October 10 — not yet officially confirmed. Watch the update tracker and the Admin Abuse schedule — the next session should land right before the patch.
